It is characterized by the scarlet red geometric motif embellished with hand-painted platinum threading, which lends luster and cachet to the design. The elegant and understated Impero shape, an icon of the Florentine Manifattura, defines the element while the pattern, inspired by the original designs of maestro Gio Ponti, suggests a Labirinto (Labyrinth). The mug completes the service alongside the teapot and the sugar bowl, whether in tone on tone arrangements or in combination with the contrasting geometric patterns of the Catene collection for a continuity of contrasting lines and lights.
